Yes. MADAR is equipped with multiple built-in safety sensors that continuously monitor your cat’s presence. The cleaning cycle automatically pauses whenever your cat approaches or enters the litter box, ensuring a safe and stress-free experience at all times.

Yes. MADAR includes a dedicated Kitten Mode designed for young cats. Since kittens can be very lightweight and difficult for weight sensors to detect accurately, Kitten Mode prevents automatic cleaning after use. Instead, cleaning can only be started manually using the button on the unit or through the mobile app, providing an extra layer of safety for growing kittens.

MADAR is designed to minimize maintenance and make daily litter box cleaning effortless. While a full deep clean is recommended approximately every 45 days, many customers comfortably use the unit for several months without a complete disassembly.

Simply keep the litter level within the recommended range and replace the waste bag when notified by the app. For an even fresher experience, you can use deodorizing powder and scented cleaning beads to help control odors and keep the litter box clean for longer periods.

When it’s time for a deep clean, the unit can be easily disassembled and washed. We also provide step-by-step video guides showing exactly how to take apart and reassemble each component.
